- Tobechukwu Iwuoha gave a current affairs update, including;
- The Association Website;
- Visit to the Alma Matter;
- Donation of school lockers;
- Donation to the 28th set POP;
- Creation of new Committees (Legal, Investment, Personal Development, Health & Well Being);
- Knowledge sharing sessions;
- New welfare policy;
- Pre – AGM Football Match (islanders vs. Mainlanders);
- Souvenirs to members of the diaspora;
- Plans for October 1st (Family and friends).
- Osele gave an update of the National Alumni and gave a brief background of how it started and where they are here. He explained that all ex-navy boys from Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Abeokuta are automatic members of the National Alumni. Osele also mentioned that one benefit of being members of the national body includes getting the ID Card, which can only be obtained through each set’s alumni and only when the member has paid their dues up to date. He also mentioned that the national body is looking to open a Cooperative and also considering purchasing land on which members can subscribe. The national body is also working on a national welfare scheme. One of us, Limmy is also member of the National body.

- Segun Fagbemi gave an overview of the Association’s vision.
- Dunmade Onibokun gave a brief on the work of the legal committee.
- Tobenna Madubueze gave a brief on the work of the Investment Committee.
- Tunde Ehindero gave a brief on the work of the medical committee.
- Obiora Okoye gave a brief of the work of the welfare committee.
- Akin Akintoye (Awogbemila) gave a brief of our insurance plan.
- Tunde Ehindero & Feyisayo gave an account of the Association’s finances.
- Segun Balogun gave a presentation on Brotherhood.

- Cutting of cake and birthday celebrations for Akin Akintoye (Awogbemila) and Ayodele Shonubi.
- Meeting came to end at 6pm.
- RECOMMENDATIONS
- Charles Ajiboye suggested that EXCOs vote on issues and make recommendations to members, rather than have members vote on every issues.
- Tobi Oyegbami commended the efforts of the EXCOs, and suggested we began thinking out of the box to raise funds and investments
- Ahmed Banu recommended that we begin to invest our funds and grow our revenue, and look at asking members who can pay more than the dues to do same.
- PENDING MATTERS
- Decision on payment deadline for dues will be communicated to members.
- Voting link on decision of Alumni project to also be communicated to members.
- Plans on October 1 plan to be communicated to the group.
